Canadian Windows was established in 1990 by Sarwan Rundhawa , Jas Dharni , and Ranjit Dharni . The current owners thought of starting their own window manufacturing company when they worked together for a window manufacturing firm in 1980s. It was the temptation of working as a team in an area where they excelled, which made them decide to start a business of their own, i.e., Canadian Windows. Having started at Port Kells, we have successfully been in business for almost 40 years and are now located in Surrey, British Columbia.
Canadian Windows manufactures high quality Vinyl windows, Window Screens, Skylights and Patio Doors, while also performing renovations for homes by replacing the old windows. The products are high quality (Energy Star) and sold at a competitive price allowing Canadian Windows to compete in the current challenging economy. The primary target market is in British Columbia, although there is a secondary target market throughout the United States. Our total warehouse area is 41,000 square feet which makes it one of largest warehouse in the industry. This extra storage allows us to order material in bulk hence keeping our ordering costs down. In terms of output, 70% of the company’s total production is on Vinyl windows, 15% on patio doors, 7.5% on window screens, and the remaining 7.5% on skylights. We are located in an industrial location, with most of our suppliers located in Langley, Surrey, and the U.S.A. This allows us to keep our costs down and pass the savings to our customers.
